Jack, Koch-funded organizations are spending millions of dollars to kill H.R. 1, the For the People Act. Can you give $5 to help Daily Kos pass the For the People Act?

The For the People Act, is one of the most transformative bills in decades and billionaire Charles Koch hates it.
The For the People Act would expand voting rights while also curb the influence of dark money in politics. Billionaires like Koch are scared that if the bill becomes law, it will take away their ability to influence and buy elections.
H.R. 1 is hugely popular—not just among progressive voters, but among conservative voters too. Koch-funded organizations have done their own polling and found that it is not worth the investment to try to sway public opinion against the bill—it's just that popular among all voters.
However, it is worth the investment of these Koch-funded organizations to try to sway key lawmakers to stop the bill from passing. Conservative organizations like Heritage Action, Tea Party Patriots Action, Freedom Works, and the Family Research Council, organized a rally in West Virginia to influence conservative Democrat Senator Joe Manchin to not only come out against the For the People Act but to also oppose Democrats' efforts to end the filibuster.
It's no surprise that billionaires like Charles Koch are afraid of the power voters would have if the For the People Act passes the Senate—and it's no surprise that they are spending big money to kill this bill. That's why we need your help today.
Daily Kos is doing everything we can to pass this historic bill. We're mobilizing our readers and activists to take direct action and make their voices heard, but we're going up against a multi-million-dollar right-wing attack machine. That's why we need you, you, and thousands of other grassroots supporters to donate a few dollars. We can take them on with your help. Jack can you give $5 to help pass the For the People Act?
