John -- Brand New Congress is excited to announce our brand new Executive Director, Adrienne Bell!

A second grade math teacher, life-long grassroots organizer, and former congressional candidate, Adrienne understands the power of community and what’s at stake in the battle to secure a bright future for our young people.

As an unapologetic progressive and two-time Democratic Nominee for TX-14 in 2018 and 2020, she outperformed any Democratic challenger in her red district in recent years. 

Adrienne knows how to build power in the movement, shift the public on progressive policy, and motivate turnout for progressives running in conservative districts. 

First recruited by Brand New Congress to run in the 2018 election cycle, Adrienne has been with BNC since the beginning as one of our earliest endorsed candidates -- launched alongside AOC on May 16, 2017!

From Medicare for All to the Green New Deal, from racial justice to immigration justice, Adrienne’s leadership and advocacy across a host of progressive policies make her the perfect fit to lead our movement forward.
 

We are ecstatic to have her leading the way as our movement faces its greatest electoral challenge yet -- the 2022 midterm elections.

Because anyone who can run a congressional campaign and manage to teach second graders, virtually, in the middle of a pandemic, is ready to take corporate greed and political corruption to task.
