One of the challenges in this race is our opponents can raise unlimited amounts of money. That's how the Republican National Committee has already chipped in $250,000 to beat us.

Tonight at midnight we close the books on our first official fundraising deadline of our campaign to defeat the Republican recall effort.

This is the first big test of our campaign, and everyone will be looking to see if we can match the big checks sent by the Republican National Committee and some of Trump’s biggest donors.

So we’ve set a goal of 10,000 individual donations today. If we can get that number, we can match the RNC’s donation to the Republican recall attempt in one day, and all from individual donors.
