Women's March

John,

At the beginning of March, we set a $125,000 goal for Women’s History Month so we can continue growing our women-led organizing movement and fighting for a feminist future.

There’s less than 12 hours left before our fundraising deadline. We’re cutting it close – but if you and just 20% of the folks reading this email right now chip in $5 we can hit our goal in time.

Will you make a donation of $3 or anything you can before our midnight deadline? Every dollar you give will power the Women’s March team as we fight to remove Trump’s most loyal, seditionist friends in Congress and train more women to organize for change.

Last year, we spent Women’s History Month preparing for the most important election of our lifetime and thanks to Women’s Marchers like you this hard work paid off. Together, we mobilized millions of women voters to vote out Trump, kicked him off Twitter, flipped the Senate, and trained thousands of volunteers to fight disinformation online.

We’re proud of what we accomplished, but it’s clear that our work is far from over.

These past weeks especially have revealed to us the challenges our country still faces to overcome Trumpism, the forces of white supremacy, and leaders who continuously fail to defend women’s rights. From the Republicans in Georgia who passed sweeping legislation that suppresses Brown and Black voters, to the Congressmen who voted against the Violence Against Women Act, and the seditionists who incited an attack on the Capitol — there are plenty of examples of the change we urgently need. These challenges might seem daunting, but this movement is capable of moving mountains and together we can continue scoring big wins.

That’s why we need to make sure that our work isn’t just lifted up during Women’s History Month, but every day of the year. Our programs operate all year round — even when there are no elections happening — to train women how to organize for change, to advocate for progressive policies in Congress, and to mobilize marches and mass protests. We know that doing this kind of programming year in and year out is how we’re going to make big strides toward a feminist future.

If you’re with us in this work, please chip in $5 or anything you can to help us reach our critical fundraising goal tonight and ensure that the Women’s March team has the resources to continue taking on big fights.

Together,

Rachel Carmona
Executive Director

P.S. We’re putting our faith in grassroots donors like you to reach our goal, John. We have seen this movement come together and achieve incredible things $5, $10, $15 dollars at a time. And we can do it again now.
