Hi Everyone, here is a quick update on our efforts to elect Chad as we reach the halfway point of the campaign.

Meet and Greet BBQ in Cheltenham

We are holding a Meet and Greet BBQ at Cheltenham Community Centre next Sunday, October 6 from Noon to 3pm.   Everyone is welcome!  Please reply if you are planning to attend.  The address is 14190 Creditview Rd, Caledon, ON and the food is being provided by M&M Food Market in Orangeville.

We launched a new Facebook Page for Chad last week:

If you are on Facebook please visit and Like the page.  We will be posting updates and videos here through the rest of the campaign and we are using this page to promote Chad throughout the riding via Facebook ads.

Debates

Just a reminder that the "big" debate is tonight at ODSS from 7-9.  It will be televised on Rogers local channel 63.  Please come out and support Chad if you are able.  There is a meet and greet from 6:30 to 7pm.

Chad did really well in the first debate in Terra Cotta last week.  You can watch videos of the debate here:
We are compiling a shorter video that focuses on Chad's responses to each question. 

There is another debate this Thursday on the Environment  at Westminster United Church at 7pm.

Voting by Special Ballot

Going to be away on Election Day?  Can't Make it to the Advance Polls?  No Worries!  You can still vote for Chad.  This is done by "Special Ballot" which can be done anytime up to October 16.  Here is an explanation:

Basically you need to go to the Returning Office and write in "CHAD RANSOM" on a special blank ballot that you will be provided.  You can find your nearest voting location using the link above.  You can vote ANYWHERE IN CANADA via Special Ballot.  Here are the local returning offices.  They are open 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm on Saturday, and Noon to 4pm on Sunday.

Orangeville Area: Mono Plaza, 633419 Highway 10 North, Suite A2, Mono ON L9W6Z1 
Bolton Area: 12612 Highway 50 North, Suite 30, Bolton ON L7E1T6 (near McDonalds)

Thank you to everyone who has offered to help us out with various activities during the campaign including helping us get 150 signatures, door knocking/flyer distribution, sign installation and manning our booth at the Shelburne and Grand Valley Fall Fairs.

Also... Thank you very much to everyone who has donated to help us Elect Chad!  We have been able to erect more signs than we expected (just ordered 100 more Lawn Signs) and we are running commercials on both MyFM and Country 105.  We will be running Facebook ads/videos until the day before the election.  We even got a very nice donation from a former resident of the riding who now lives in Atlantic Canada!

If you have not donated yet, please consider helping us out with a donation of $20, $100, or $400, whatever your budget can afford.  Just a reminder that you will receive a 75% tax credit on your first $400 of donations so a $100 donation only costs $25 out of pocket.
