Hi John,
If we help diverse young progressives compete for and win state and local office, three major things will happen:
- Communities will have representation they can trust in -- the kind of good leaders who want to drive progress and better the lives of all their neighbors.
- Democrats can stop horrible policies like racist voter suppression laws in Georgia, an anti-trans youth bill in Arkansas, and so much more.
- Top-of-the-ticket candidates, like our congressional and gubernatorial races in 2022 and the presidential campaign in 2024, will benefit immensely from having local candidates fighting for change on their team. A 0.3-1.5% bump in the final vote total to be exact.
Run for Something is devoted to recruiting, training, supporting, and electing diverse, young progressives to office -- to make all that and more happen. But it's only made possible by grassroots donors fueling the movement.
Run for Something is trying to raise $3,000 more before the first fundraising quarter of 2021 comes to a close. Can you chip in $5, or whatever you can, before midnight tonight? It'd go a long way towards building the movement.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Thank you,
