As we wrap up Women’s History Month, we wanted to take a moment to highlight the important contributions made by our own Arshia Ali-Khan, the interim CEO since June of 2020 at MLFA. Arshia has a passion for justice and equality that not only makes her a perfect fit for the role, but gives her the kind of drive and determination necessary to be an effective change maker.

Over the last six months, Arshia has already demonstrated a strong visionary approach that is leading the organization toward greater levels of excellence and efficiency. A self-described "life-long learner," Arshia continually seeks opportunities for personal growth and transformation, inspiring those around her to challenge and expand their own expectations.

With 16 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and development, Arshia is grateful to have this opportunity to make a difference. During this month that is dedicated to celebrating the contribution of women to history, culture, and society, we want to say how proud we are of Arshia for increasing the visibility of strong and accomplished women in leadership.
