John,
State legislators across the country have introduced more than 250 bills in 43 states to make it harder to vote.
These bills include measures to limit the early voting options that 85 million people used to safely vote in 2020 — an election with the highest turnout in a century — and are coming on the heels of months of lies about the validity and security of the general election.
The assaults on voting are unacceptable. Elected officials should be working to increase participation in our democratic process, not rolling back the progress we saw in 2020.
That’s why Issue One and our National Council on Election Integrity are hosting a discussion about how these various proposals would impact voting for millions of Americans and what we can do to make the electoral process even more secure and accessible — instead of making it harder for people to vote.
Join us for this timely discussion on Tuesday, April 6th at 12:00pm ET!
Hope you can join us,
The Issue One Team
