It's crazy to think that we're already approaching the end of the first FEC deadline of the 2022 election cycle, and how much we raise by the end of this quarter matters a lot. Here's why:

Being in Congress means having a leader who stands strictly for the people, which is why I don't accept money from corporate PACs or special interest groups. But the folks who want to unseat me do.
You deserve a leader who leads with love and compassion, not someone interested in taking this seat to play party politics.

National Republicans are treating NY-19 like it's just a seat for partisan gain — but friend, you and I both know that it's more than a seat. It's your seat. It's the people's seat.

After all this time, we've continued to lead with love and compassion. We've stood up for our fellow Americans from every walk of life. And if we continue to go hand in hand in all we do, we will continue to move forward as a community and as a nation.

Unfortunately, not everyone sees it like we do.

To those who treat politics like a partisan game, all that matters is the power that might be gained by taking back this seat. But to me, this is about standing up for what's right. It's about representing all of my constituents, irrespective of their party affiliation to the best of my ability.

As we've seen in the past, there's no level of vitriol the opposition won't stoop to when it comes to attacking me in order to gain this seat back. That's why this end-of-quarter deadline is so important -- it sets the stage for what this campaign will look like, and how best we’re able to prepare for what our opponents may be planning to throw our way.
