Friend,

Today we conclude Women’s History Month by celebrating International Trans Day of Visibility, in recognition that our work is, at its core, the fight for bodily autonomy.

Whether it’s through laws that restrict abortion access, ban insurance coverage for reproductive health care, or outlaw gender-affirming care for trans youth, we face persistent attacks designed to undermine our health and ability to control our bodies, lives, and futures.

As reproductive freedom advocates, we must recognize and center all the communities fighting for full bodily autonomy.

We know people of all genders need access to abortion care -- and that transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive communities face unique barriers in the form of inadequate insurance coverage, legal restrictions, and stigmatization.

This year we’re proud to partner with the Kentucky Health Justice Network, which has developed a Trans Health Advocacy Program to support trans Kentuckians in getting the health care they need. If you are interested in learning more about their work, or if you want to support this initiative in honor of Trans Day of Visibility, you can learn more here: [link removed]

We call on the reproductive freedom community to ensure that those most impacted are centered in our work. In doing so, we advance reproductive freedom, and move closer to liberation for all.

Thank you,
Andrea Miller
