Dear John,

We succeeded.

We managed to stop radical ideology at the Commission on The Status of Women a few days ago at the UN in New York, and remove the radical content related to abortion and the LGBT agenda.

Our (many of your helped) actions empowered a coalition led by pro-life countries. This year, we really turned up the pressure:

  • We launched a worldwide campaign that collected over 212,000 signatures.
  • We launched a pro-life bus with the message "abortion is not healthcare" that circled around the UN building during all the days of the conference.
  • We published an ad in the New York press with the same message: "Abortion is not healthcare".
  • We delivered the signatures to the delegates of the different countries.
  • We lobbied directly with the delegates to try to stop the worldwide offensive.

We did it! If you signed our campaign, thank you and congratulations!

We have made a video summary. Be sure to watch and share it.

We still have some work to do in future years to better the outome. In the text of agreed conclusions there is a reference to "sexual and reproductive health" and "reproductive rights". In the chapter on education there is also a reference to "sexual and reproductive health." Our goal is keep making progress each year, while fighting against stronger attempts to push anti-life and anti-family pressures.

In addition, the promoters of the pro-abortion and LGBT agenda verbalized their failure, as reported by c-fam in its bulletin last Friday:

  • A diplomat from Germany, representing all of Europe said he "regretted that the pressure on women's rights remains" (as you know, abortionists consider abortion a women's right...).
  • The US representative for Economic and Social Affairs, Courtney Nemeroff, also showed his frustration: "This commission must do more than tread water"....
  • Another EU diplomat, annoyed with the Holy See's position said during the discussions that "the European Union would not take into account the views of the observer countries." (The Holy See has permanent observer status at the United Nations and has obviously taken a stand against abortion and the LGBT agenda.

In short, frustration because despite the fact that the Biden Administration had given orders to promote abortion and the LGBT agenda, they have met with opposition from Brazil, the Holy See, the African group and thousands of citizens, like you and me, who believe that women's issues are different.
