Our campaign functions differently from most. I don’t accept corporate PAC money. Instead, our campaign is powered by thousands of people in Michigan and across the country who donate, on average, just $14 per contribution.

Tonight at midnight we face our first big fundraising deadline of the year. When we file our report with the Federal Election Commission, it’ll show the media and our opponents the power of our movement―and whether we’re prepared for the challenges ahead.

Will we have the resources to grow our democracy in the face of relentless right-wing voter suppression? Or will Trumpism win?

Just last week, Michigan Republicans introduced 39 new voter suppression bills to disenfranchise Black and brown voters. And over the weekend, Georgia’s Republican Governor signed into law a sweeping set of voter suppression laws. We’ve got a lot of work ahead to make sure our government actually works for everyone who calls this country home.
