I just checked our fundraising numbers ahead of tonight’s FEC deadline, and as of right now we’re still $3,792 short of where we need to be. Take a look:
We’re just a few short months into this election cycle, and I have already had to adjust our budget in anticipation of the flood of special-interest money headed our way after the GOP announced that Jared is a top target for 2022. We’re expecting dark money super PACs to ramp up their spending soon, and as Jared’s finance director, my job is to make sure we have the resources to respond to whatever they throw our way.
But with just hours to go, we need to raise $3,792 to reach our goal and begin this campaign on a strong foundation. So John, if there’s any amount you can chip in -- $5, $15, or whatever works for you -- it would go a long way in the fight to re-elect Jared.
