Hi there — In 2020, Michiganders turned out in record numbers to make their voices heard at the ballot box.

We helped elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, sent Gary Peters back to the Senate, and made it possible for Democrats to pass the American Rescue Plan.

Instead of Republicans responding to their losses by listening to voters and adjusting their message, they’ve launched the biggest assault on voting rights since Jim Crow.

It’s not just voting rights that are under attack, either. Republicans continue to incite violence against their opponents without any consequence or any shame.

The Chair of the Michigan Republican Party even went so far as to call for Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, and I to be “burned at the stake.”

Remember, these are the same lawmakers who joined Trump in peddling lies about voter fraud, attacking our vote by mail laws, and discrediting the results of a free and fair election.

No matter what antics Republican legislators try to pull, I will do everything I can to protect voting rights in Michigan as your Attorney General.
