Right now, Democrats have the slimmest majority we've had since 1930. Midterm elections next year seem far away, but we need to prepare now. Our majority is at risk, and the Republicans know they have a chance to turn the House red in 2022. They only need to defeat 5 of their 47 targets to win.

We can't let that happen. 
 
I'm going to do everything I can to make sure Democratic leaders don't lose their seats, while protecting my own seat. We won in 2018 and 2020 because you and hundreds of thousands of Democrats nationwide stepped up to fight. You helped us defend our seats and win the majority we have today.
