Instead of relying on millionaires or corporate interests, we have a bunch of people like you from across Texas and the nation giving whatever they can afford from time to time. It may not seem like $5, $10, and $25 donations are enough to compete with Republicans’ special interest money, but it is.

That’s because, before you opened this email, someone you don’t know pitched in $15, and in the time it takes you to read this, someone else will add their $5 donation.

We fund our work one small-dollar donation at a time, and it all adds up to help our candidates. You are what makes our work so powerful, but it requires each of us to do our part.
