Hi John -- Congressman Jim Himes here.
I'm reaching out on behalf of the Connecticut Democratic Party
in advance of their quarterly fundraising deadline tonight. They
need to raise $15,000 before March ends to stay on track for
2021, and right now they're still several thousand dollars short
of that goal.
Can you chip in $10 now to help them catch up? Your
donation will go directly toward supporting Democrats in this
year's municipal elections and in next year's midterm
elections→

I'm so proud of what Democrats have been able to accomplish
already this year under the leadership of President Biden, and
I'm looking forward to keeping this momentum going.
Passing the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan earlier this
month -- which is already bringing $1,400 direct payments to
Connecticut families, around $2.6 billion in relief aid to
Connecticut, and much, much more -- was a historic first step
toward lifting our country out of this pandemic.
But we're facing so many other crises, and along with my
Democratic colleagues in the U.S. House, I'm determined to
address all of them -- from voting rights to gun violence to
infrastructure to climate change.
John, Republicans are currently raising huge sums of money to build
their plan to end Democrats' House and Senate majorities next
year -- the Connecticut Democratic Party's work organizing
virtually and on the ground across our state is our first line of
defense.
If you can, please chip in to support Connecticut Democrats
ahead of this quarterly fundraising deadline. Any amount that you
can give will play a critical role in defending our Democratic
majorities in the upcoming midterm elections.

Thanks for stepping up!
