Dear John,

Here at Maine Conservation Voters, we're firing on all cylinders this legislative session to protect our environment and democracy.

Rarely a day goes by without one of our amazing staff members giving testimony before a committee, strategizing with our partners, meeting with lawmakers, educating the public about Maine's Climate Plan, or connecting Mainers with their representatives on our environmental priorities.

This critical work to protect the Maine we all love is only possible through loyal supporters like you. If you are able to donate today, MCV board members will TRIPLE MATCH your gift before our deadline tonight.

Will you chip in $35, $50, or whatever you can to take advantage of these generous matching funds [[link removed]] ? [[link removed]] All gifts receive by midnight tonight will be triple matched. [[link removed]]

I have witnessed all that my colleagues at MCV have accomplished so far this year, and I know that it is only possible because of members like you. Here's a sample of my colleagues' recent testimony before legislative committees:

* Civic Engagement Manager, Will Sedlack, on bills that will protect voter's rights.
* Abbie Bradford, Outreach Manager, in support of racial impact statements in the legislative process.
* Comunications Manager, Ches Gundrum, on the impact of balloon litter on ocean life and in support of the state divesting from fossil fuels.
* Director of Policy and Partnerships, Kathleen Meil, on energy-related bills that align with Maine's Climate Action Plan.
* Beth Ahearn, Director of Government Affairs, to reduce harmful residential insecticides, ban the aerial spraying of herbicides on Maine's forests, establish appliance standards, and phase out the climate pollutant hydrofluorocarbon.

With your help, our staff will continue advocating on your behalf — and on behalf of Maine's environment and wildlife — on so many more issues this year. Please click here to take this last opportunity to triple your impact and donate whatever you can to help protect the Maine we all love. [[link removed]]

We can accomplish so much more working together than we could ever do alone. Thank you!

Warmly,

Stacie
