*Martin Jackaman Day Centre (Aspley) are looking for a full time Pool Plant Technician / Attendant to work at their specialist Hydrotherapy Pool, for 37 hours per week.

The starting salary is ?19,698 (Level 1), rising to ?20,493 (Level 2) on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time)

The centre provides both one to one support for citizens and also activities in a group setting, to encourage and maintain independence for citizens. One of the facilities on offer at the centre is a Hydrotherapy Pool, which requires regular maintenance and upkeep, as well as supervision for citizens while in use. ??? ? ??
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that pool plant, operations and systems are maintained and implemented effectively to optimise the safe use of Hydrotherapy Pool. ??? ? ??
They should hold a relevant qualification both in respect of pool operations ? *Small Pool Operators Certificate, or similar *? as well as working in the water with vulnerable people ? *Royal Life Saving Society Certificate or similar.* ? ? ?? *ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:*
* To be able to understand technical information relating to plant operations together with knowledge of running a Hydrotherapy facility
* To monitor equipment performance and report to the appropriate Care Team Leaders on operational and maintenance issues.

The Whole Life Disability Programme supports citizens with physical and learning disabilities from childhood right through to adulthood to ensure a smooth transition between services. The team works closely with Health colleagues to commission and support citizens in a range of services including community support, residential and hospital settings. ? ??
Children?s workers work citywide across Nottingham, to provide support to children and young people (and their families) who are identified with a disability. They carry out assessments and reviews and then implement care and support according to their assessed needs and in line with current legislation. ? ? ?
The post holder will contribute to the assessment process, working flexibly across the Whole Life Disability Service to facilitate personalised support for disabled children, young people and their families, by offering direct support, practical help and advice. ? ??
This will include providing support to parents / carers in establishing day-to-day routines and fulfilling practical tasks that is based on a whole life, strength based, person centred approach, and plans being able to ?reach up? in working with children, young people and adults as part of preparation for adulthood. ? ??
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a caseload of disabled children and young people in need of services, ensuring timely interventions, monitoring and reviews. *? ? ?
