John,
Back in 2019, the Supreme Court's conservative majority ruled that federal courts could not place limits on partisan gerrymandering. It was a terrible decision -- as A.G. Holder said at the time, "They blew it." In her dissent, Justice Elena Kagan wrote that "gerrymandering is... anti-democratic in the most profound sense."
Now the Supreme Court is considering another anti-democratic policy: voter suppression. The justices heard cases concerning two Arizona laws that, if upheld, "could destroy what remains of the Voting Rights Act," according to Vox. Most experts think they will side with the Arizona GOP legislators who passed those laws.
We're not telling you this to scare you. We're telling you that you can trust the NDRC to keep fighting for voting rights, just like we've continued fighting for fair maps, no matter what the Supreme Court decides . And you can help by giving us the resources we need -- will you pitch in to our $120,000 end-of-quarter goal?

No matter how the Supreme Court rules, we're going to keep executing our multi-pronged approach to ending gerrymandering and blocking voter suppression bills. We're going to:
- Support the federal For the People Act
- Work in 15 battleground states to stop Republicans from manipulating the maps
- Speak out against voter suppression policies wherever they arise
But we need to hit this end-of-quarter goal in order to be able to accomplish all of this work. John, can you make a donation to help us get to $120,000 by midnight? We're so close.
