News just broke that Gaetz is being investigated for potential sex trafficking by the Justice Department for an alleged relationship with a 17-year-old girl... who Gaetz allegedly paid to travel with him.

And guess who was the sole no vote on a 2017 law designed to combat human trafficking? You got it. Matt Gaetz.

As for the man himself? He clearly doesn't think anything's going to happen, wisecracking about an Elon Musk tweet:

That isn't even mentioning the tweets accusing the Department of Justice of extorting him.
