Folks —
One of the best parts of my job is getting to hear from the people of Minnesota about their personal stories, their goals, and their concerns for the future of our state and our country.
For too many politicians, everything goes in one ear and out the other. They’re only interested in pleasing their wealthy donors or special interests, and they stop listening to the very people they were elected to serve the minute they’re in office. Not me.
My parents raised me to believe that to be a true part of your community, you need to actually listen to one another and work together to solve problems. That’s a value I carry with me every single day.
As I’ve always seen it, if you really listen to people, you’ll find everybody has a story worth hearing. Everybody has a problem worth working to solve. And when it comes to making big decisions as a community, everyone deserves a seat at the table.
That’s why I'm fighting for the issues Minnesotans are focused on in Washington — like protecting and expanding affordable health care, getting through this public health and economic crisis, supporting working families, tackling climate change, and so much more.
I'm working hard for folks like you in the Senate, but while I'm putting up a tough fight, I could really use your help making sure we’re hitting our fundraising goals.
So, I'm asking you to stand with me as we reach the first end-of-quarter deadline of the year. Donate $3 by tomorrow’s deadline to support a campaign that is focused on fighting for folks like you, not wealthy donors or special interests.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
For the first time in a decade, Democrats control the White House, the Senate, and the House. That means everyone from the press to the pundits to Mitch McConnell himself will be watching our fundraising numbers very closely to see if we’ve still got the momentum.
So long as we can count on your support, I know we’ll hit our goals and prove the grassroots energy that brought about a Democratic trifecta in Washington is still there — and it’s stronger than ever.
Thanks for all that you do.
