As we wrap up my third month in Congress, I am genuinely grateful for the ability to lead and serve at this time in our nation’s history.

After four years of the Trump presidency and a pandemic that has laid bare the inequities in our country, we have an opportunity to redefine who we are as Americans while rebuilding our communities in a way that reflects our values.

As I work hard on behalf of my constituents and our country, I am also looking ahead to 2022. The Democratic majority in Congress is slim, and Republicans will need to flip just five seats to take back the House. We can't afford to lose a single seat, and with redistricting on the horizon, we have to be extra vigilant.
