When we launched our FEC filing deadline goal five days ago, I was nervous. A $20,000 goal is ambitious and hard to reach, but if we reach it, the work will have been worth it.
We still have $5,267 left before tomorrow night. I know it seems like a lot, but let me break it down —

This first FEC deadline of the year will set the tone for the rest of the campaign. Our opponents are gearing up to pore over our reports to find any weakness. I promise you this: if they find even a perceived weakness, it will be a part of every conversation we have over the next two years.
