Democrats can’t afford to lose a single Senate seat in 2022 -- and the Republicans know it.

They are already preparing to challenge every Democrat on the ballot, including my friend Tammy Duckworth. If they’re successful, they’ll hand the Senate back to Mitch McConnell.

Tammy has been a champion for working families in Illinois and across the country.

She was instrumental in passing the American Rescue Plan and delivering much-needed pandemic relief to those who need it most. She is also working to expand affordable health care, support our service members and veterans, protect our environment and fight climate change.

For all of these reasons and more, the GOP will do whatever it takes to defeat Tammy -- and take control of the Senate majority once again. But we aren’t going back, John.
