As we bring our 40/40 campaign to a close with this final slate of honorees, I want to thank all of you for showing up to support and celebrate just a small sampling of the amazing youths that make up the Iranian-American community. 👨‍💼 Combiz Abdolrahimi is a senior innovation executive with 15 years of experience helping governments and businesses to run complex programs and to harness the power of data

♀️ Hanieh Jodat Barnes is an activist working on demanding Equality and Equity for women and advocating for the rights of the marginalized communities

🧑‍🎓 Kayla Tabari is a recent Harvard graduate and first-year Ph.D. student planning to research racialized healthcare disparities in the Middle Eastern community

🎥 Khalik Allah is a Jamaican-Iranian American photographer and filmmaker based in New York

Mana Kharrazi is a community leader and organizer with more than 13 years of experience in racial justice, identity-based, and youth leadership movement work

🌐 Nahal Zamani is the Director of Movement Building at Demos, a dynamic think tank that powers the movement for a just and inclusive democracy

✍️ Negar Mortazavi is an Iranian-American journalist and political analyst based in Washington, where she’s currently a columnist for The Independent and the host of the Iran Podcast

👩‍🍳 Nicole Leah Dayani is a​​ self-taught chef​ and graduate of UCLA​ with her B.A in Sociology,​ currently working in real estate

👩‍🎨 Rayka Zehtabchi is the first ever Iranian woman to win an Oscar for her short documentary, Period. End of Sentence

🇺🇸 Shahrzad Noorbaloochi is an attorney whose practice focuses on US economic sanctions, export controls, and other national security-related trade issues
