Team, as a former school teacher, I’ve always been focused on Wisconsin’s future.

But since I defeated Scott Walker and was elected governor in 2018, I’ve seen one bully after another try to rig the system in their favor, tear down our communities, and jeopardize our future – here in Wisconsin and across the country.

Now the GOP’s focus is on restricting voting rights. Conservatives are investing $10 million to push voter suppression laws in battlegrounds including Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, and Michigan – and those bullies are doing everything they can to rig elections and lock Democrats like me out of power.

That’s why I’m turning to you, Team. If states like mine go red, the GOP will end the progress Democrats have made and jeopardize the Biden-Harris agenda. But we’re fighting back: The DGA has set an ambitious fundraising goal of $100,000 before tomorrow’s critical end-of-quarter deadline. Each and every gift will be triple-matched up to their goal by a group of generous Democratic supporters because they know that meeting this deadline is essential to our work.

In 2018, the DGA helped me flip Wisconsin blue and defeat Scott Walker to win the governorship thanks to help from grassroots donors like you. And just last year Democrats across Wisconsin turned our state blue, flipping from Trump to Biden. Now, with 38 governorships on the line in the next two years, we need supporters like you to invest in battleground states once again.

The DGA is already working around the clock to build the foundation for Democratic victories nationwide. But its efforts – and the difference between victory and falling short in close elections – depends on grassroots supporters like you making those critical early investments.
