According to NBC News, Democrats have introduced a resolution to remove Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from the House because she “advocated violence against our peers.”

That is an understatement. Green has threatened to shoot Speaker Pelosi in the head, defied safety measures after the Capitol insurrection, and posted transphobic propaganda within the halls of Congress.

But let's face it, John, if she hasn't yet convinced Republicans that she's unfit to lead, then House Democrats are unlikely to get the bipartisan support they need to remove her from office.

That's why we need to move now to vote Greene out by supporting women like Holly McCormack who are stepping up to unseat her.

McCormack, a mom and small business owner, says, “I looked at this past year and everything that's happened in our nation and what's happening here in Georgia, and I said we can't wait around. This isn't the example that I want to set for my kids, and I don't want them seeing it from people in a position of influence.”

And flipping this seat is possible. Sen. Raphael Warnock's former communications director noted that someone like McCormack could have a shot “if Democrats pull off sky-high voter turnout.” That means investing early, just like we did in Georgia to take the Senate.

That's why we're working to rush funds to McCormack's campaign before the first FEC filing deadline tomorrow, and to support any woman who steps up to unseat Greene through our Defeat MTG Fund. But to do that, we'll need to bridge our $3,093 fundraising gap in the next 24 hours, and we know we can't do that without you.

John it's going to take all of us doing our part to get this transphobic, Trump sycophant out of Washington, but we know people like you, who believe our country is better than the hatred Greene spews from Congress, will step up just like you did before.
