If this year has shown us anything, it’s that keeping Democrats in the majority is not just about being able to pass policies that we think will help the American people. It’s about preserving our democracy.

Republicans have made room for conspiracy theorists in their party — creating a safe-haven for members who spread the very same lies that led to the violent insurrection against our government on January 6th. 

While Republicans attempt to drag us into their culture wars and political fights, we are staying focused on delivering for the American people during this critical time for our country, but we’re facing incredible opposition headed into 2022.

My seat in Florida’s 7th District has been put on the National Republican Congressional Committee’s target list — and they’re preparing to spend millions of dollars to unseat Democrats like me to take back the majority.
