Any day now we could hear some BIG news from the U.S. Supreme Court. The state of Mississippi has asked the Court to review our case challenging a ban on abortion after just 15 weeks of pregnancy. This is a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade.

As we await a decision from the Supreme Court about whether it will hear our case—and continue our work litigating dozens of other cases across the U.S.—we know that we’ll need supporters like you by our side.

Pre-viability abortion bans like this one have been unconstitutional since the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe ruling. This law should set off alarm bells for us all.

Abortion remains legal in Mississippi for now, but like in many states, it is already a hollow right for many who already face barriers to care—in particular, Black people, communities of color, and people living in poverty. Mississippi legislators have targeted abortion care with so many restrictions over the years that there is only one clinic left in the state. With this case, Mississippi seeks to advance its strategy of eliminating abortion access entirely.
