Women's March

Hey there, John. I'm Lisa!

I'm reaching out to you ahead of tomorrow at midnight — an important fundraising deadline for Women's March — to share my story and explain how the sisterhood I've found through WM's organizing programs has impacted not only my life, but the lives of so many others across our country.

After you’ve read my Women's March story, I hope you can contribute $3, or whatever you can, to help fund their organizing and training programs for the many crucial fights ahead.

During last year's presidential election, I knew we all had to do our part to elect Joe and Kamala, not to mention Dems down the ballot. I found myself volunteering with several different organizations doing that important work — but what I found here at Women's March felt distinctly different.

I found that Women's March gave me something I didn't even realize I was looking for: A sisterhood of fabulous women looking to create positive change in our nation through supporting women rights, civil rights, and human rights.

After the election, I knew our work wasn't finished, and that we had to continue the fight for women's rights and equality for all. So, I started a Women2Women circle. In just a few short months, the women in our local circle have already written postcards and phone banked for a local special election, collected donations for local women and children’s shelters, written letters to defund Ted Cruz, written postcards to call out members of Congress that voted to throw out millions of legal ballots, and much more.

What started as one day of marching has turned into so much more. Women's March continues to inspire me by providing educational and uplifting opportunities like the Feminist Fundamentals Short Course and Take Action Tuesdays — and every single one of their programs is provided to women like me for free. They let me know that tomorrow is a big fundraising deadline for the entire organization, so if you can chip in to keep programs like these free to women like me who've been moved by this work, then I'd be so grateful:

Will you make a donation of $3 or more before tomorrow at midnight to help power Women’s March’s organizing programs? Women's March trainings, marches, and programs are all free to attend, but they can only stay that way with enough grassroots funding.

P.S. The Women's March programs I just told you about are all offered *totally* free of cost thanks to grassroots donations. They've given me so many opportunities to organize in my community and use my voice to advocate for our feminist future, so I'm asking you to join me in giving back to them today by donating $3 or anything you can before tomorrow's deadline.
