John,
I wanted to highlight two recent stories that show just how desperate homophobes are to push LGBTQ people back into the closet:
Tennessee Bill Seeks to Ban LGBTQ+ Content from School Textbooks
The bill would ban instructional materials "that promote, normalize, support, or address lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, or transgender issues or lifestyle." - The Advocate
Five Years to the date of the passing of the infamous "bathroom bill," North Carolina lawmakers introduce anti-trans sports bill
"Save Women's Sports Act" would mandate sex-segregated sports in middle and high schools in North Carolina. – MetroWeekly
You read that right – in 2021, transphobes are trying once again to legislate trans people away. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s even a push to ban LGBTQ content from schools. Look, we need to send a clear message: we’re not taking this sitting down, and we’re not going to let them get away with it. Help Victory Fund hit our End of Quarter goal and hold these terrible leaders accountable. [[link removed]]

With your help, we can support out leaders in these states as they stand up to hatred. But if we don’t hit our End of Quarter goal, we can’t reelect out leaders in North Carolina, Tennessee… or anywhere else. Help us hold these bigots accountable and elect out leaders: donate today.
