John —
Last week, the House voted on a number of key bills for women's rights. Among them was the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act — landmark legislation that created lifechanging protections for victims of domestic violence.
Standing up to domestic violence seems like a no-brainer, right? Well, apparently not for Republicans.
That's right: 172 GOP representatives voted AGAINST the Violence Against Women Act.
Why, you may ask? The bill includes a provision to keep guns out of the hands of domestic abusers.
This blatant disregard for women is unacceptable — especially for our congressional representatives. That's why we're going to get these right-wing reps out of office.
John, we're mobilizing now to unseat Republicans who actively legislate against women — but our fundraising is coming in far below our needs to build our movement. Can you chip in even just $5 tonight to help us get back on track? >> [link removed]

Together, we can make our voices heard and show Republicans that voting against women will never be tolerated.
Thank you so much for being a part of this fight.
