Last year, the Trump administration rolled back almost 100 critical environmental protections. We all know just how devastating the Trump presidency was to our environment.

In the first few months of Democratic control of the White House and Congress, we're already hard at work putting these protections back in place and doing even more to combat climate change. Congressional Democrats introduced protections for the Arctic Refuge, and President Biden has signed multiple executive orders to act on climate change.

Recently, a headline from The New York Times really struck me:

"The Trump Administration Is Reversing Nearly 100 Environmental Rules. Here's the Full List."

The article listed 98 total rollbacks -- 64 completed, 34 in progress -- on
everything from limits on carbon emissions to common-sense protections for clean
air, water, and against toxic chemicals. I was floored -- but it confirmed yet
again the importance of our fight to protect our planet.

The Trump administration is hoping we aren't paying attention -- we have to let
them know we won't be silent: Add your name to stand up for environmental protections
and against these dangerous rollbacks right now.

These rollbacks prioritize Big Oil and Big Coal over the American people. And to
make it worse, many of these rules were finalized in the past few weeks, while
the country was struggling to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

It's not lost on me that the rollbacks to our air quality were finalized during
a pandemic attacking our respiratory systems. That just underlines why this
fight is so personal to so many of us.

I'll keep fighting for real progress, but I need to know you're with me: Add your
