Friend,

Imagine going to the hospital for an urgent medical issue, only to be turned away. Not because doctors are unable to help you, but because they REFUSE to, based on who you are, where you're from, or who you love.

If the Trump administration gets its way, this will be our reality.

The administration is going after the Affordable Care Act again, this time through a proposed new rule that would effectively endorse discrimination against immigrants, women, and LGBTQ people who seek medical care. That's right: if this rule passes, you or someone you love could seek medical care and be denied.

We can't let them get away with this. Submit a comment today and tell the administration, hands off the ACA!

It's just as dangerous as it sounds, friend. This new rule would:

- Stop patients in need from seeking treatment for fear of discrimination.
- Block patients from critical health care information by no longer requiring non-English "taglines" telling patients that information is available in languages other than English.
- Increase the stigma and shame surrounding reproductive care (including abortion), and take our country back to a time when being a woman or being trans was a pre-existing condition.

A patient's health should always come first. But if we don't stop this rule, medical care will take a back seat to discrimination. Help defend patients' rights and submit your comment today.
