Our first FEC fundraising deadline of the year -- and the one that will set the stage for 2022 -- is coming up tomorrow night. And as of right now we’re $7,296 short of our major fundraising goal to show the GOP's dark money groups that we have what it takes to respond early to every attack.
John, we need to put up a strong fundraising number and set a powerful tone for the rest of this campaign. So if you’re able, will you consider chipping in a few dollars to help us reach this critical goal?

On Wednesday night, my campaign will close the books on our quarterly fundraising numbers for the very first time this election cycle. And ever since the GOP listed me as one of their top targets in 2022, there has been a huge spotlight on Maine’s 2nd District.
The GOP establishment will be looking through our public fundraising report for any advantage they might have over this grassroots team, so it’s critical we put up a strong showing.

Look, this race won’t be easy. My elections in 2018 and 2020 were tight -- and 2022 is already shaping up to be just as close.
If I learned anything from our last two races, it’s that uphill battles like the one before us right now are won by staying competitive at every stage of the race. I know we can win again in 2022 if we build a strong foundation today.
