Title 42 was one of many executive actions made by the Trump administration to kick out and keep out refugees and immigrants--and it's still being used today to put children in harm's way. Disguised as a public health measure at the start of the pandemic, Title 42 had one goal and one goal only: to harm immigrant families.

While the Biden administration has made some progress, they continue to misuse Title 42. As a result, thousands of refugees, particularly Black migrants, have been expelled to danger.

Every day that Title 42 remains in place is a day we deny children and families respect and dignity. Now is the time to be bold, to double down on our values of love and compassion, and live up to who we as a nation want to be.

We can welcome families and children with dignity--we have the resources and the will to do it, but we need you with us. We hope you can tune in Thursday to be in community with us and learn why we must call for an end to Title 42 and the remaining policies crafted by Trump once and for all.
