Friends,
Nothing tests a person’s character more than a crisis, and I can say with confidence there is no one I would rather have leading our state right now than Governor Tim Walz.
Through all of the past year's unprecedented challenges, Governor Walz has worked with urgency and integrity to keep Minnesotans safe. Despite presiding over the only divided legislature in the country, he has stayed above the political fray, put people first, and followed science at every turn.
As a result, Minnesota leads the nation in vaccines administered and is in a stronger-than-expected financial position to support the recovery of students, working families, and small businesses hit hardest by the pandemic.
Hope is on the horizon, but we can’t let up now.
The Governor’s campaign is facing their first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline of the year tomorrow night, and they tell me they’re still more than $11,000 behind their budget target.
We must make sure Governor Walz has the support he needs to keep us on the path to recovery. If you can, will you join me in making a donation today to help them make up the difference?
Thank you,
Walter Mondale
