117 WV Can’t Wait volunteers signed up as monthly donors after the 2020 election to keep the movement going. We hope you will join them.

 

By donating monthly to the WV Can’t Wait Action Committee, you will be helping to carve out a little hope for the future in these turbulent times.

 

Your donation will help fund: 

  • a movement safety fund and free mental health services for our working class candidates who are under attack. 
  • a slate of 3 brave, dynamic, working class city council candidates in Morgantown, and terrific candidates in Charles Town, Bridgeport, and elsewhere this spring, as we get warmed up for 2022. 
  • sponsorships and support for 6 independent, rural media outlets that are launching this year--like Rusty Williams’s In the Weeds podcast and Crystal Good’s Black by God. We need to tell a different story, our story, about rural America.
  • training, writing, and coaching for rural organizers and candidates in West Virginia that are combining mutual aid and electoral organizing in courageous ways.   
  • direct support at the Capitol for WV Can’t Wait elected officials and WV Can’t Wait platform issues.
  • a Budget and Office Director who will help us launch our 501c3 (WV Can’t Wait Mutual Aid) and 501c4 (WV Can’t Wait Votes) operations this spring!
