Earlier this year the GOP announced they’re going to target Katie’s seat because she represents a vulnerable district. So they’re going to use this first public report of the year to evaluate the strength of our campaign. If we’re able to show she has strong grassroots support on our FEC report, we can send them a powerful message: Katie—and our movement for working people—is here to stay.

If we fall short of our quarterly goal and can’t show that our movement has grown on our FEC report, it could be a strong indicator for Republican operatives to start flooding loads of money into our district and finding a strong challenger.
