We’ve got some news. Larry Sabato’s Crystal Ball, a major election prediction and analysis organization, ranked the Virginia governor’s race as “Lean Dem.” But as Sabato pointed out, Virginia Democrats haven’t won three gubernatorial elections in a row since the 1980s, and Republicans are gearing up to win back voters they lost during Trump’s administration.
Supporters like YOU have made it possible for Virginia to “Lean Dem,” resulting in progressive policies passing in our Commonwealth. But although we have made great strides since 2017, we can’t take anything for granted.
Republicans are doing everything they can to take back the governor’s mansion and the House of Delegates in November. Republicans like Amanda “Trump in Heels” Chase are trying to grab our Commonwealth by the reins. Here's the bottom line: We voted decisively to kick Trump out of office in November and we have to fight just hard to keep Virginia free of the Trumpian policies that the Republicans are pushing.
