Dear John,
It feels like the wind is at our back with the excellent news we received last week - Minnesota U.S. Senator Tina Smith delivered a letter to Department of Interior Secretary Deb Haaland and Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack urging completion of the canceled mineral withdrawal study of a ban on sulfide-ore copper mining in the watershed of the Boundary Waters.
Join me along with Alex Falconer, Government Affairs Director with the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters, this Wednesday, March 31 at 10:30 a.m. CT for an informational webinar, where we will explain the significance of Senator Smith’s actions and map out some potential scenarios for the months ahead (including with our lawsuits and with U.S. Representative Betty McCollum's BWCA protection bill).
We're excited to share our federal plan to protect the Boundary Waters, and how YOU can help us achieve permanent protection for the Boundary Waters. WHAT: Update Webinar with Becky Rom and Alex Falconer WHEN: Wednesday, March 31 at 10:30 a.m. CT WHERE: RSVP here.
I hope you’ll join me - making good progress!
