The American Rescue Plan was supported by 75% of the American people, and Democrats and Independents delivered because they knew how crucial this legislation was to help families across the country. And despite poll after poll and thousands of Americans contacting them directly, Republicans voted, in unison, against help for the American people. 

So today, I’m asking you to pitch in $25 to our campaign to ensure we keep Yvette in Washington and working for solutions for all of Brooklyn. Because of the support of people like you, folks, Yvette is able to work on the issues that matter most to us, like expanding unemployment benefits, enhancing our national vaccine program to get shots in arms across the country, and expanding aid for small businesses to be able to survive the strain of the pandemic.

Not a single Republican joined Democrats in providing the necessary relief Americans need to survive this pandemic. The American Rescue Plan was one of the most robust relief bill passed in American history. This bill cuts child poverty in half, will reduce federal taxes by about $3,000 in 2021, and give 85% of Americans direct relief by way of $1,400 stimulus checks.

The American Rescue Plan was critical legislation that will help us get through this crisis. We need Yvette in Washington, passing the relief packages that work for all of Brooklyn.
