Friend,

Ahead of our end-of-quarter deadline on Wednesday, I wanted to personally reach out to share why reaching our $10,000 goal is so important.

I ran for Congress because I believed our country has the capacity to do better: to build a more inclusive economy that works for everyone, no matter your background or income bracket; to invest in our education system so that our children can all receive a quality education that will maximize their chances for success in our Commonwealth; and to stand up for our American values as we work to protect this nation and restore our standing on the global stage.

I still believe those things, and it's what I'm fighting for every day in Congress. It is nothing short of an honor and privilege to do this work in honor of the country we all love.

Unfortunately, there is a roadblock – the GOP. Since President Biden took office, the GOP has consistently worked to undermine our efforts to beat this virus, to reopen our schools, and to jumpstart our economy. Sure, we can have political differences, but there is no excuse for inaction and unwillingness to do the job: serving the American people.

That’s why they’re coming after me with everything they’ve got to flip this seat red. And if that wasn’t concerning enough, a GOP-linked group is already listing this seat as one of the most vulnerable and Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight reports that the GOP is favored to win back control of the House next year.

Friend, the United States just can't afford a Republican majority that stands in the way of direct help to the Pennsylvanians I serve. Not when my community and countless others across the country are facing so many unprecedented challenges.

But I'll be frank: Missing pivotal fundraising goals could mean losing this seat to the GOP, especially with Republican-led redistricting on the horizon – so I'm counting on you to step up to help us meet our end-of-quarter goal.

Please, will you rush $5 or more right now to make sure we have the resources to defend this crucial seat in PA-06 and keep the House blue? Every dollar will make a massive difference as we go up against the GOP's megadonors.
