Here are some quick facts for you, friend:
Currently, 95 percent of elected prosecutors in the United States are white. And less than one percent of prosecutors are Black women. We launched The Collective's Justice For All Initiative to change that and more.
In 2020, the world erupted as more unarmed Black people were murdered and their murderers walked free. If we do not have lawmakers that look like us and relate to the injustice Black people face on a daily basis, we will not receive the justice America promises to all of its citizens.
If we want to change the laws, we have to change the lawmakers and the elected officials that enforce them. We're focused on recruiting and supporting Black candidates committed to unapologetically pursuing justice and progressive criminal justice reform, but we can't do this important work alone.
On Wednesday, we're coming up on our first end-of-quarter deadline, and we set a goal of raising $30,000 to start The Justice For All Initiative strong. Will you chip in before the deadline to help #ElectTheNext Black leaders?

Reforming the system starts with us, friend. Through The Justice For All Initiative, we plan to recruit and support Black leaders who are running to be the next Attorneys Generals, District and State's Attorneys, judges, and sheriffs.
So far for the 2021-2022 cycle, The Collective PAC has already endorsed five Justice For All candidates -- but this is only the start. We need to start laying down the groundwork we'll need NOW to reform the criminal justice system from the top-down.
If you're with us in our fight for justice, chip in now to The Justice For All Initiative before the Wednesday end-of-quarter deadline.
Thank you,
Chris
