People For Member, Jim Crow is alive and well. Georgia just enacted one of the worst voter suppression laws in the country to make it harder for Black and brown voters to cast a ballot. We're fighting back. We have several tools to do so. One of those tools is the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, which would restore strength to and modernize the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Had the right-wing majority on the Supreme Court not gutted a key provision of the VRA in its 2013 decision in Shelby County v.
