Dear Friend,
I am writing to ask you to take a crucial step in preserving the ability of Democrats in the U.S. House to improve our quality of life by contributing to the reelection of Susan Wild.
Susan has been an unwavering member of the majority that has exercised its Constitutional power to the fullest to respond to the mutually reinforcing crises in our health and our economy and to advance full protection for victims of prejudice based on sexual orientation or gender identity. Over monolithic opposition from the Trump-loyalists who now dominate the Republican Party.
Working closely with President Biden, they are now preparing legislation that will dramatically improve our infrastructure in a manner that supports the lagging fight against climate change that they inherited from the “former guy”.
Less than two and a half years ago, this was wishful thinking. But then Susan and others defied the daunting obstacles of right-wing money, hyper-partisan gerrymandering, and the unrestrained demagogic appeals to the basest instincts of people in crisis to take seats from the Trump-enablers.
Can you donate now to re-elect Susan Wild and protect our Democratic majority?

Unfortunately, several members who won in the great blue wave of 2018 were vulnerable to the strong Republican counter attack last year that some had underestimated. But while Susan’s majority was reduced, her ability to respond to the needs of her constituents while standing by her values made her one of the critical mass of survivors who preserved the Democratic majority.
That brings us to 2022. Susan is one of the Democrats whose capture of a Republican seat still rangles the right. Encouraged by history that says the President's party loses seats in the midterms, and possibly with the side of blatantly partisan redistricting at which Pennsylvania Republicans excel, they are making a major effort to defeat her.
Presidents Bill Clinton in 1994 and Barack Obama in 2010 were badly hurt when Republicans won back the House in the middle of their first term.
Please, join me in supporting Susan Wild by donating to her campaign here:
