This is the first public FEC deadline of the year, and it will set the tone for this race -- I'm one of national Republicans' top targets in the country. Outside groups will be looking closely at our fundraising numbers to see if I have what it takes to hold this seat.

When I first ran for Congress, pundits, polls, and attack ads told us we didn't stand a chance -- but an army of grassroots supporters like you refused to give up and we flipped this district.

I’m confident that we can defend VA-02 once again, but it will take everything we've got. Outside groups spent over $3 MILLION to try to unseat me in 2020, and they’ve wasted no time in launching dark money attacks against me this cycle.
