Peggy Shepard Named to White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council

Today the White House announced that Peggy Shepard has been appointed to the new White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council. She and fellow council members are tasked with providing advice and recommendations to the Chair of the Council on Environmental Quality ([link removed]) and the White House Environmental Justice Interagency Council on how to address current and historic environmental injustices.
