The fight for justice is long, and it requires the work and courage of people who don't quit when the going gets tough. My friend Rep. Lucy McBath (D-GA) is one of those people - and today, she and I both need your help.

Lucy and I made history as two Black leaders who flipped red seats blue in Georgia. We ran because we knew that our state deserved better than far-right misleaders and race-baiting, bottom-of-the-barrel politics.

Now we're fighting in Congress to protect our sacred voting rights, take action on gun safety reform, expand affordable health care and advance the cause of justice - but there's a problem: Democrats are hanging on to razor-thin majorities in the House and the Senate, and Lucy and I are both up for reelection next year.

With CNN reporting that the GOP has set its sights on Georgia as a top target to take back control, losing either one of our critical seats could cost Democrats our majorities and jeopardize our entire progressive agenda. That's why I'm urgently asking:

Please, will you split a donation of $5 or more - as much as you can spare before our crucial end-of-quarter FEC deadline - to help Lucy and me keep Georgia blue and defend our Democratic majorities?
